Digging Up Answers, An Imagined Archeological Dig is
a multidisciplinary project that incorporates ceramic sculptures, an “archeological” dig, video projections, sound elements, and participatory workshops for members of the public.
The archeological sites of my imagination are places where the evidence of cultures effortlessly “float up through the dirt”. The Dig is a metaphor for what my unconscious unearths. My intention is to question current perceptions of accepted myth by asking: if given the opportunity, what would you like to leave behind?
